ABOUT THE GALLERY EXHIBIT

"Architectural photography is, for me, the natural extension of landscape photography. The photograph captures distinct moments in time and place. I adore Providence and Rhode Island for the vast array of natural lighting conditions that occur in and around this state - conditions you can react to and capture. Some require patience and planning, revisiting moments again and again. Over late nights and early mornings in  the winter that carried us from 2015 to 2016, I walked around downtown Providence and along its river to photograph some of what most endears the city to me." Stuart is a photographer and graphic designer. His photography explores the colour and texture of landscapes and architecture. The images captured evoke the feelings of occupying places or spaces in time.
